Wed. March 5th - Irish Tea in Honor of "Sisters of Mercy". Mercy Hospital's "Baggot Street Cafe", 2601 Electric Avenue. Port Huron. To benefit Peoples Clinic. 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. $10.00 includes Irish Tea and chance to win shopping trip to Birmingham and Afternoon Tea at the Townsend Hotel. Tickets available at the door. Thurs. March 6th "Irish Idol" - Military Street Music Cafe, 1102 Military Street, Downtown Port Huron. 8:00 p.m. Irish themed or Folk Songs. Audience judged, so bring your fan base. No entry fee, but must register by March 1st at the Music Cafe. Limited number of entries. Must be 21 years of age. Winner to be honored in Parade.

Fri. March 7th - 2nd Annual Betty Kearns "Little Black Dress" Cocktail Party - Local Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit. Kicking off St. Patrick's Day in style and raising funds for Local Breast Cancer Programs. Wear your favorite Black Dress and Pink Accessories. Port Huron Golf Club, 4101 Fairway Dr., Fort Gratiot. 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Advance Tickets Only. (and former Grand Marshal.) $12.50. Tickets available at the Irish Rose. This is St. Clair County's oldest, continuously running St. Patrick's celebration.

Entertainment by Celtic Cross Irish Band and the Strathroy Legion Pipe Band.

March 15th - "Pubcrawl" - Ride the Trolleys to sixteen downtown pubs and restaurants: Active Lounge, The Brass Rail, Figaros, The Fogcutter, Huron Athletic Club, Legendz, Military Street Music Cafe, Office Lounge, The Outpost, Palms Crystal Bar, Quay Street Brewery, The Roche Bar, Rum Runnerz, Thomes Edison Inn, Vintage Tavern, Zebra Bar. Enjoy live music. 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Port Huron. $10.00, Tickets go on sale February 21st and are available at participating pubs, the Irish Rose, Blue Water Tourism and Convention Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and MainStreet office.
